it's official. i am a geek.

patrick and i ran into each other at the canteen just 25 minutes ago. he was with his friend and i was alone, eating. by myself. *sigh* poor me. anyway, i was at the other table, thinking of something to post on this blog. then he went to my table and asked me if i'd go to the MUSIC COLLISION tomorrow. while he was saying that, i was hmmm.. how would you put it, staring blankly at the cabinet in front of me? then he said, "HOY! natutulala ka ata diyan."

god, i wished i'd gone with the wind. who on earth would be drowned in her thoughts like that? and you know what, lately, i've been talking to myself. seriously, that medical-comedy series i'm watching influences me strongly. i'm glued to that portable dvd player for days and my social life has gone from wuhoo! to boooo000ooooo00. but my ednasian friends and i would meet later so that means my 14 O-ed BOO would have 12 O's now.

wait.. see? i am a geek. i mean, who counts all O's in the word b00000000OOoo000? i'm telling you i've never done that until this morning. so, what do i do? it's not like i'm the geekiest geek on the planet. i mean, there's IVAN CAROLINO, whom everyone called NERD in high school coz he was throwing paper at everyone and he uses the broom to hit HERO, his swordfighting buddy. and there's this guy from the internet cafe, who's whistling STEPS songs over and over. i'm COOL. as in C-O-O-L. cool. okay, so not as cool as michelle rodriguez but definitely much cooler than ivan.

oh, come on. who am i kidding? what's wrong with being a geek anyway? we do make people look good, right? there won't be popular kids if there aren't nerds. and even though we ARE annoying, we do good things for others too. like make people laugh when they continuously pick on us. so who cares if i'm one of them? being a geek means not letting anything stop you from doing what you want and saying what you like people to know.

I AM A FULL-FLEDGED GEEK BECAUSE:
1. i LOooooVE math. sumali na ko sa ilang math contests nung grade school tsaka high school.
2. i love shawarma and i can eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snacks, i don't care!
3. i wear braces. (=
4. i have small boobs and, just like other geeks, i'd die to become like the sexy, pretty girls in school.
5. i watched and LOVED NAPOLEON DYNAMITE. gusto ko nga si JON HEDER eh. haha.
6. i memorized the names of almost all the characters in the HARRY POTTER books.
7. i can recite the PREAMBLE in less than a minute. (=
8. i can recite the alphabet backwards... kidding! i wish i could though.
9. sometimes, i hang out with the geeks in school and i find them okay. mas natatawa pa nga ako sa mga jokes nila kaysa sa mga corny jokes ng mga friends ko eh.
10. i had a crush on this nerdy dude back in grade school. addict sa mga zoids, naka-eye glasses, mama's boy. PERO ang gwapo! haha. tsaka mabait siya. kaklase ko na nga, kapitbahay pa namin.. hehe.. saya!
