i've had the greatest and most memorable birthday yet! friends already greeted me the night before my BIG day and would you believe that at exactly 12am, September 8 someone wished me a happy birthday. Sweet old ATE CHARMA from the dormitory sent me a text message and she was only a meter away from me. i appreciated it though. so sweet of her to place "MwaH mWah" at the end of the text. i have no idea why i did it but i actually saved all the messages that i got last Friday. ito yung sunod-sunod na bumati sakin:

i treated my friends at McDonald's. then at 7pm, my dorm mates and i walked through the storm just so we could watch You are The One. haha. the best part was arriving at the dormitory past our curfew, which is 10:00. the rest is history! haha. can't spill. it's a secret. heehee. mom and dad would KILL me, that's for sure.

i would consider taking Paolo's advice, that i should enjoy my life as a seventeen-year-old. sixteen is a totally different number from 17. so is 18. i won't experience the same things after my next birthday. I COULD ONLY BE 17 ONCE. i should have fun. this is my last year of being a super child-like, carefree teenager. when i'll turn 18, everyone would expect me to be mature and independent and do all those adult stuff, which i hate, by the way.

i want this year to be a super fantastic one! i'd do all the stuff that i'm dying to do for ages.. i WILL BECOME the outgoing KAREN, no longer the shy type. or am i?
