even my dad's a cave man. he doesn't know how to use the dvd player that my uncle bought him. he called me an hour ago to ask why it wasn't working. i gave him the instructions but he said he did everything and so on. so i said he just make kalikot and find out himself how to make the thing function. and then he said, "O sige, sige" and then the line went dead.

i think he was mad.

well, it wasn't my fault that i'm miles away from him and couldn't do the necessary fixing. my dad has always been dependent when it comes to things not related to work and family. if it's about his health, he wants us to treat him like a baby--remind him to take his medicine, bring him what he needs if he's sick..etc.. and when it comes to gadgets like his Pocket PC, his laptop and his DVD Player, he DOESN'T READ THE MANUAL. I AM HIS MANUAL. he asks me about this and that. i get tired of the usual teach-me-coz-i-have-no-clue-about-these-things-and-i'm-too-lazy-to-read-the-instructions drama.

but anyway, he's my dad. he gives me my weekly allowance and buys me clothes and shoes and cellphone load and other stuff so i gotta be patient. EXTRA patient. hehe.
