miguel chavez of chicosci was AMAZING! he left me and the whole jam-packed auditorium speechless after their band's breathtaking performance. when i say breathtaking, i mean it. miguel [don't know what his nickname is, excuse me] and the whole band were all jumping and bangin' their heads and we were like, "oh my gOD!!!!" and "AAAAhhhhHH!!!!!!!!" and some were like, "A PROMISE!!! A PROMISE!!!". they performed their own version of Ehead's "MAGASIN" and sang more than three of their own. first band to perform at the DELUGE acquaintance party and it was smackin'! the vocalist was like, "Grabe, first time ata naming magperform ng ganito kaaga." duh, it was like 9 am and yeah it was the earliest concert i've went to so far. but anyway, it was alright. after screaming and rocking it hard, miguel said, "ayos, medyo gising na ako." and he was coz he started imitating Sam Milby and sang a few parts of Calla Lily's and Hale's songs. we cheered and applauded coz he copied their voices well. he was good. uh, no, make that REALLY good.

truth is, i have no clue of their songs nor WHO they are. i've heard of Chicosci before. we went to this drug rehabilitation center in Tagaytay when i was in first year high school. then this man said something like Chicosci composing a song for a band member's brother who was rehabilitated in that place. but i have never really seen them neither in magazines nor on TV. haha. poor me. atleast i saw them in person FOR THE FIRST TIME.

chicosci sucked all our energy. during the next band performances, we were so sleepy and quiet. but kiko machine revived us. Spiderman-slash-Batman-slash-Superman made us all guffaw. they were so good that those who wanted to go to the comfort room didn't leave their seats. then there was join the club. they were okay. not really as energetic as the other two bands but because they were our fellow Tomasinos, we gave them our sincerest cheers. three other not-so famous bands, two of which are from UST, also performed.

Pre-Com Society organized a hot general assembly. hopefully, next year, we'll get to watch another rockin' concert late in the afternoon. ^_^

<3 till hell freezes.
